The Sony A6000 series is the largest single family of mirrorless bodies we buy after the ZV-E10. Between February and September 2026 our purchase records for India show 29 A6400, 28 A6100, 15 A6700, 14 A6600, 8 A6000, 2 A6300 and 1 A6500. Seven bodies that look nearly identical from the front, launched across a decade, at very different price points. The model name is on the front of the body, lower right of the mount, as "ILCE-6400" style text on the base label and as "α6400" on the front. If the front badge is worn, look at the base label first. Then:

On our quote form, the lens most often added with an A6000 or A6100 is the Sony E PZ 16-50 mm kit zoom, the same lens that comes with the ZV-E10. The 16-50 mm is the second most-chosen lens on our form after the 18-55 mm kit zooms on DSLRs. The A6000 is also often sold with the 55-210 mm and a 50 mm prime. Whatever you have, the lens is a separate line with its own condition grade; the camera page figure is for the body only. The sequence is the same for every camera: front, back with the screen on, top plate, base with the serial number, sensor and mount with the lens removed, accessories laid out, and two short videos of the camera powering on and firing the shutter and of the information screen. On these bodies:

No. The camera page figure is for the body only. The 16-50 mm or any other lens is quoted as a separate line with its own condition grade.
Both have the flip-up touch screen and record 4K. The A6400 has a magnesium body with weather sealing and a higher-resolution viewfinder; the A6100 has a plastic body without sealing. The model number is on the base label as ILCE-6100 or ILCE-6400.
Between February and September 2026 the A6400 (29 bodies) and the A6100 (28 bodies) were the most common, followed by the A6700 and A6600.
