The Osmo Pocket is a different animal from an action camera. It is a small gimbal camera, which means there are motors, a rotating screen and a lens that is never protected by a case while you shoot. People searching "sell DJI Osmo Pocket 3" or "DJI Pocket 4 second hand" usually want two things settled before they ask for a price: which of the four Pocket listings is theirs, and whether a gimbal that has been used every day is still worth selling. This guide covers both.

Creator Combo or Standard

The Creator Combo is the bundle DJI sells with extra accessories on top of the camera; on the Pocket 3 that box includes the wireless microphone transmitter and the battery handle among other items. The exact list is printed on your box. The Standard version is the camera with its basic accessories.

We price the two as separate products, so choose the page that matches what you bought. If you bought the Creator Combo and have since lost the microphone or the handle, still use the Creator Combo page and answer the accessory questions as they are; if you bought the Standard version and later bought accessories separately, use the Standard page and list what you have. The model page sets the maximum, the accessory answers adjust it, and the agent confirms the accessories at pickup.

What changes the price

The price form uses the same four inputs for a Pocket as for any action camera:

1. The model page.
2. The condition grade: Flawless, Good, Average or Below Average.
3. How long ago you bought it: under 4 months, 4 to 12, 12 to 18, 18 to 24 or over 24 months.
4. The accessories you still have: box, charger, bill, battery, mounts and the shorty grip. None of them is required to sell.

What we check on a Pocket

A Pocket has parts that an action camera does not, and they are exactly the parts that decide the grade.

• The gimbal. Power the camera on and watch the startup movement. The gimbal should run through its motion and settle level without shaking, drifting or a motor error. A gimbal that has been dropped often still works but sits slightly off level; that is a Good or Average camera, not a Flawless one. A gimbal that will not initialise is a camera we cannot buy.
• The lens. It sits at the front of the gimbal with no cover, so check it against the light for scratches and marks. Dust behind the front element is a lower grade.
• The screen. On the Pocket 3 and Pocket 4 the screen rotates to switch the camera on. Check that it rotates cleanly, that touch works across the whole surface, and that there are no marks under the glass.
• The handle and ports. The USB-C port should charge without wiggling. The battery should last a normal session.
• The accessories. Microphone transmitter, wide-angle lens, handle, tripod, case: lay them out. The agent photographs them as part of the record.

Do the same check yourself before you fill in the form. The quote holds at pickup if the camera matches what you entered; if something material is different, the agent re-quotes on the spot with the reason and you are free to decline.

Before you hand it over

Back up your clips, format the card, and unpair the camera from the DJI Mimo app on your phone. Our reset checklist has the steps. Charge the battery: the agent needs to see the gimbal initialise, and a flat Pocket cannot be checked.

Pickup is free in ten cities, including Mumbai and Pune. Anywhere else in India you can sell by courier: we check the camera with you on a video call first, the courier charge is shared half-half and 90% of the price is paid before the parcel reaches us. Pack the gimbal locked in its case with the head supported, because a loose gimbal in a parcel is the one thing that turns a Flawless Pocket into an Average one on the way.

Frequently asked questions

My gimbal sits slightly tilted after start-up. Can I still sell it?

Yes, as long as it initialises and moves. A gimbal that settles off level is graded below Flawless; tell us on the form and the quote will hold at pickup. A gimbal that will not initialise at all is not something we buy.

Do you buy the Pocket without the Creator Combo accessories?

Yes. Use the Standard page for a camera bought without the combo, or the Creator Combo page with the accessory questions answered honestly if you bought the combo and have lost some items. The accessories add to the figure; none is required.

Is the Osmo Pocket 2 listed?
