A DSLR is still the camera most people in the Chandigarh tricity want to sell. Most of them are entry and mid-range Canon and Nikon bodies that came with one or two kit lenses, and most owners have not used them for a year or more. This guide covers what we actually buy from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula sellers, how the price for a DSLR is built, and the two ways to hand it over: the Mohali store or a free doorstep pickup.
No rupee figures are quoted here. Prices change with the market and the live figure for your exact model is on its own page.
Two sources tell the same story. The pickup bookings made on this site from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur and Kharar over the last twelve months were led by the Canon EOS 1500D and the Canon EOS 200D Mark II, with the Canon EOS 3000D, Nikon D3400, Nikon D3500 and Nikon D5600 behind them.
Among the cameras we actually bought from Chandigarh sellers between February and September 2026, Nikon DSLRs led: the Nikon D5300 came in most often, followed by the D5600, D3400 and Nikon D7500. On the Canon side the 200D Mark II and 3000D were the DSLRs; the Canon EOS R10 and Sony ZV-E10 were the most common mirrorless bodies in the same period, which is a separate story.
Two things follow from this. First, every model named above has its own price page, so you do not need to describe your camera on a call. Second, the lenses mattered: more lens items than camera bodies came in from Chandigarh in 2026, because almost every DSLR arrived with its kit lens and often a second telephoto.
Open your model's page and press the button to see the value. The figure at the top is the maximum for that body alone in Flawless condition. Your own figure then depends on three answers you give on the page:
The price page is for the body only. Each lens is a separate line added on the lens step, by the exact name printed on the barrel. For a tricity DSLR this usually means one of the common kit pairs: the Canon EF-S 18-55 mm with the EF-S 55-250 mm IS II, or the Nikon 18-55 mm VR II with the AF-P 70-300 mm. A lens can also be sold on its own at sell camera lens, and there is a separate guide to selling a lens in Panchkula, Chandigarh or Mohali.
If you want to understand the quote line by line before you book, read how the second-hand DSLR price is built for Mohali and Panchkula.
The store is Sell Your Gadget (SYG) Chandigarh, Booth No. 5, Phase 9, Industrial Area, Mohali (SAS Nagar), Punjab 160062, open Monday to Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM. Call the store number on the sell used camera in Chandigarh page before you come, so the person who checks cameras is there. Walking in makes sense if you are already in Mohali or Phase 9 is on your way; the check and payment happen at the counter.
Doorstep pickup is free across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur and Kharar. You pick a slot on the site after your phone is verified, the agent comes to your address, checks the camera and pays on the spot. The price is the same either way; there is no pickup charge and no store discount.
Payment is cash, UPI or bank transfer, on the spot. Nothing is paid later.
Mirrorless bodies, lenses, drones under 250 g and action cameras follow the same flow with their own pages. If your model is not listed anywhere on the site, use the instant quote with photos and the team replies with a figure. There is also a guide to selling a GoPro, DJI Osmo or drone in Mohali, and the general 5 things to know before selling a camera in Chandigarh.
Yes. Older bodies have lower figures, but they are listed and bought. The Canon EOS 1300D is one of the most-booked DSLRs in the tricity, and bodies older than that are quoted on their own pages or through the instant quote.
No. The price comes from the model page and the condition check, not from where you hand the camera over. Pickup is free and the store has no walk-in discount.
No. The body and each lens are separate lines. You can sell the body alone, the lens alone, or both together; the figure is the sum of the lines you choose.
The agent checks the body, the lenses and the accessories you listed, records your ID and pays. For a DSLR with one or two kit lenses this is a short visit; it takes longer only if the camera does not match what was entered and has to be re-quoted.
