Our nearest walk-in store is in Pune. Walking in is an option if you prefer it, but it is not needed: the price is worked out online and confirmed at your door.
The agent checks the camera in the same order every time: the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories laid out. Two short videos are recorded, one of the camera powering on and firing the shutter and one of the information screen.
If what the agent sees matches what you entered, the price stands. If something material is different, the agent re-quotes on the spot and tells you the reason, and you are free to decline.
Two things help a Mumbai pickup go smoothly. Charge the battery the night before, because we do not buy dead cameras and a flat battery looks the same as a dead one. If you live in a town outside Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane, call or WhatsApp +91 95608 22859 and we will tell you whether pickup is possible. Anywhere in India, you can also sell by courier: the condition is checked on a video call first, 90% of the agreed price is paid in advance, and the courier charge is shared half-half.
