Pune is one of only three cities where you can walk into a Sell Your Gadget store with your camera. It also has free doorstep pickup across Pune and PCMC (Pimpri-Chinchwad). Between February and August 2026 we bought 64 cameras from sellers in Pune, and those purchases included 69 lenses.
This guide helps you decide between the store and pickup, shows what Pune sellers sold us this year, and explains the check and the payment. There are no rupee figures here, because prices change with the market; the live figure for your model is always on its page.
Our Pune store is at Shop No. 15, Kadam Plaza, S.N. 7, Opposite Bharti Hospital, Katraj, Pune 411043. It is open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00, Sunday by appointment, and closed on 26 January and 15 August.
Call +91 87003 14427 before you visit, so the right person is there when you arrive. At the store the camera is checked in front of you, the same way our agent checks it at a doorstep pickup.
Both routes use the same price and the same check. The choice is about convenience.
Either way, get your price online first. It saves time at the store and at the door.
From our own purchase records for February to August 2026, the bodies that came in most often from Pune were:
All six are mirrorless cameras, and several of them, like the ZV-E10, Z30 and R50, are popular with people who shoot video for social media. If you own an A6400, our guide on what to check on a Sony A6400 before selling goes into detail.
Pune's list is not only mirrorless, though. Canon 1300D and 1500D bodies also came in from Pune this year. If you have one of those, read our notes on the Canon EOS 1500D and on why we buy the 1300D only in neat, working condition.
Open your model's page and press the button to get the exact value. The figure at the top is the maximum for that body in Flawless condition. Your own figure then depends on:
The body price does not include any lens. Each lens is quoted separately, because a body and a lens lose value at different rates. You can add lenses on the next step or price a lens on its own at sell camera lens. To compare models first, see our second hand camera price list.
At the store or at your door, the check follows the same order: the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories laid out. Two short videos are recorded, one of the camera powering on and firing the shutter and one of the information screen.
If the camera matches what you entered, the price stands. If something material is different, you are re-quoted with the reason and you are free to decline. We do not buy dead cameras, so charge the battery beforehand. A working lens from a failed body can still be sold on its own.
You are paid on the spot after the check, by bank transfer, UPI or cash. Above Rs 10,000 we prefer bank transfer. A government ID proof is needed. Our guide on how payment works when you sell a used camera explains each option.
If you live elsewhere in Maharashtra, call or WhatsApp +91 95608 22859 and we will tell you whether pickup is possible for your location. Our purchase records this year include cameras bought from sellers in towns such as Nashik, marked as out-of-city purchases. From anywhere in India you can also sell by courier after a video call check. For Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane, see our Mumbai selling guide.
