Selling a Canon EOS 200D, 200D Mark II, 750D, 760D, 800D, 80D or 90D: Which One Do You Have?

Between the entry Canon DSLRs (1300D, 1500D, 3000D) and the full-frame bodies sits the range most Indian photography students, YouTubers and wedding second-shooters actually bought: the 200D and 200D Mark II, the 750D, 760D and 800D, and the 80D and 90D. They share lenses, batteries and menus, and several of them share a body shell, so the model name is easy to get wrong on the price form. This guide lists the seven pages, gives you a quick way to identify each, and explains what the agent checks on a mid-range Canon DSLR at pickup.

All seven are in the Canon section of sell DSLR camera. The entry bodies have their own guides: the 1300D and 3000D, the 1500D and the 1200D, 2000D, 4000D and 100D. Every Canon line, DSLR and mirrorless, is on one page in every Canon model we buy.

How common are they?

The 200D Mark II is the one we see most in this group: our purchase records show 29 Canon EOS 200D Mark II bodies bought from sellers across India between February 2026 and August 2026. Then 9 Canon EOS 90D bodies between February 2026 and August 2026, 7 Canon EOS 80D bodies over the same months, and 6 Canon EOS 200D bodies between February 2026 and July 2026. The records also include the 750D and the 800D. Each page shows its own live line from these records. One model that is not listed but keeps turning up is the 700D: the Instant Quote tool identified it in three of the first 150 photos sent to it. The route for an unlisted body is at the end.

Which one do you have?

The name is on the front plate, to the right of the lens mount when the camera faces you, and on the base label. Use these tells if the plate is worn:

• 200D vs 200D Mark II. The smallest bodies in the group, both with a fully articulating touch screen. The Mark II adds 4K video and eye-detection in live view; the front plate says "Mark II". Same LP-E17 battery, same shape. The firmware screen in the wrench menu names the model and is what the agent records.
• 750D vs 760D. Same sensor, same body shape, released together. The 760D has a small LCD panel on the top plate and a rear control dial around the direction pad; the 750D has neither. That top LCD is the quickest tell.
• 800D. The successor to the 750D, same class, faster autofocus and a newer sensor; no top LCD. Looks like a 750D from the front, so use the name plate.
• 80D vs 90D. The larger enthusiast bodies with the top LCD, the rear dial and the deeper grip. The 90D has a higher-resolution sensor, 4K video and a small joystick on the back for the focus point; the 80D has no joystick. The 90D's front plate says 90D.

The EF-S lens is a separate line

Every figure on these pages is for the body only. The 18-55 mm kit lens, the 55-250 mm, the 50 mm f/1.8, the 18-135 mm and any other EF or EF-S lens are quoted on their own lines, in their own grade, and paid for together with the body at pickup. Of the 909 purchases we recorded in India between February and September 2026, 743 included at least one lens, and the 18-55 mm is the lens line most often picked on our form. What changes the price

1. The model page sets the maximum for that model in Flawless condition.
2. The condition grade: Flawless, Good, Average or Below Average.
3. How long ago you bought it: under 4 months, 4 to 12, 12 to 18, 18 to 24 or over 24 months. The 200D Mark II and the 90D are recent enough that some sellers are still inside the younger brackets; the 750D, 760D and 80D are almost always over 24 months. 4. Accessories: box, charger, battery, bill, bag. None is required.

What we check at pickup

The standard sequence is the same for every camera: front, back with the screen on, top plate, base with the serial, sensor and mount with the lens off, accessories laid out, and two short videos. On these bodies the grade usually comes from:

• The articulating screen and its hinge. All seven have a swing-out screen; the ribbon in the hinge is the common failure on a body used for years of video. Check touch across the whole surface on the touch models (200D, 200D Mark II, 800D, 80D, 90D; the 750D and 760D are touch too).
• The sensor and the mirror, with the lens off.
• The mount, for bayonet wear and clean contacts.
• The mode dial and the top LCD on the 760D, 80D and 90D: the dial should lock and the LCD should have no dead segments.
• The microphone and HDMI port covers, which crack on vlogging bodies.
• The battery: LP-E17 in the 200D pair, 750D, 760D and 800D; LP-E6 or LP-E6N in the 80D and 90D. The agent checks it holds a charge.
• The power-on video with a few shutter actuations and the information screen. The shutter count is one input to the grade, not a cut-off; our shutter count guide shows how to read it yourself.

If the camera matches what you entered, the quote holds and you are paid at the door by bank transfer, UPI or cash. If something material is different, the agent re-quotes on the spot with the reason and you are free to decline.

700D, 700D kit, 77D or 850D: not listed yet

We do not list the 700D, the 77D or the 850D at the moment, although the 700D in particular is sent to us often. Frequently asked questions

How do I tell a 750D from a 760D?

The 760D has a small LCD panel on the top plate and a control dial around the rear direction pad; the 750D has neither. Both share the sensor and body shape, so the top LCD is the tell.

Is the 18-55 mm kit lens included in the 200D Mark II price?

No. The page figure is for the body only. The 18-55 mm, the 55-250 mm and any other lens are quoted on their own lines and paid for together with the body at pickup.

Do you buy a Canon 700D?

My 80D has a high shutter count. Does that stop the sale?

No. The count is one input to the condition grade, not a cut-off. A body that powers on, fires cleanly and matches the grade you entered is bought at the quoted figure.
