Bangalore is the city we get the most pickup bookings from after Delhi NCR. In the bookings made on this site from Bangalore since 2022, more than two thousand of them, Canon and Nikon together make up about three in four, and about two thirds of all bookings are DSLR bodies rather than mirrorless. This guide explains how the second-hand DSLR price is worked out for a seller in Bangalore, why the kit lens matters so much here, and what to check before the agent arrives at your door.
It does not quote rupee figures. Prices move with the market, and the live figure for your exact model is always on its own page.
From our own booking records for Bangalore, the DSLR models booked most often are:
Every one of these has its own price page. Two Nikons that Bangalore sellers book almost as often, the D3200 and the D5200, do not have a page yet; for those, send one photo and we identify and quote the camera by hand.
The picture is changing, though. In the last 12 months of Bangalore bookings the Sony A7 III and the ZV-E10 have been booked about as often as the entry Canons, and among the cameras we actually bought from Bangalore sellers between February and September 2026 the body that came in most often was the Sony ZV-E10, followed by the Nikon D5600, Canon R50 and Canon M50 Mark II. If you own a mirrorless body, the same rules below apply; the family guides for Sony A6000 to A6700 and Canon EOS M50 to M10 help you find the exact version. If you are not sure which Nikon DSLR you own, read how to tell the D3300, D3400, D3500, D5300 and D5600 apart; for the older entry Canons, see the older entry Canon DSLRs we still buy.
Open your model's page and press the button to see the value. The figure at the top of the page is the maximum for that body in Flawless condition. Your own figure then depends on three things:
The price page gives the body-only figure. That is the single most common misunderstanding from Bangalore sellers, so it gets its own section below. The full logic, with a worked example and no numbers, is in what decides a used camera's price.
About four in five Bangalore bookings on this site included at least one lens. The lens named most often in those bookings is the Nikon 18-55 mm VR kit lens, then the Canon EF-S 18-55 mm, then the Canon 18-55 mm and 55-250 mm pair, then the Nikon 18-55 mm and 70-300 mm pair, and, on the Sony side, the 16-50 mm power zoom. Among the cameras we bought from Bangalore sellers in 2026 there were more lenses than bodies.
Each lens is quoted as its own line, added to the same quote, because a body and a lens lose value at different rates. To get the lens line right:
The check at your door in Bangalore is the same one our stores do: the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories. Two short videos are recorded, the camera powering on and firing the shutter, and the information screen.
So before the slot:
If the camera matches what you entered, the price stands. If something material is different, you are re-quoted with the reason and you are free to decline.
Six in ten Bangalore bookings chose the 11 AM to 2:30 PM slot; afternoon and evening slots are also on the booking form, and four in five Bangalore bookings were made for the next day. Pickup is free across the city, from Electronic City and Sarjapur Road to Whitefield, KR Puram, Yelahanka, Kengeri and RR Nagar; the full list from our records is on the sell used camera in Bangalore page.
You are paid on the spot after the check. In our Bangalore bookings about seven in ten sellers chose a UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm), most of the rest chose cash, and a few chose bank transfer. Above Rs 10,000 we prefer bank transfer. Our guide on how payment works when you sell a used camera explains each option.
Bangalore is a doorstep pickup city: there is no walk-in shop, and nothing to carry across the city. The same check and the same price apply at your door as at our stores in Delhi, Pune and Chandigarh. Our Google listing for Bangalore is where sellers leave their reviews; the link is on the city page. The rest of the local picture, how soon the pickup usually is and what to keep ready, is in selling a used camera in Bangalore, and the five things that surprise sellers most are in 5 things to know before selling a camera in Bangalore.
No. The price comes from the model page and is the same across India. Bangalore gets the same figure, the same free pickup and the same check as every other city.
No. The body is one line and each lens is its own line, all added up in the same quote. Enter the exact lens names from the barrels.
We do not buy dead bodies. Its working lenses can still be sold on their own through the sell lens page.
Book a slot on the model page after the OTP; the day and time are confirmed with you on the phone. Four in five Bangalore bookings on this site were made for the next day, and the 11 AM to 2:30 PM slot is the most-booked one.
