Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati and Dehradun are not among our listed free-pickup cities, and we have no store in any of them. Sellers there still sell cameras to us regularly. Between February and September 2026 our purchase records show 17 cameras bought from sellers in Lucknow, 16 in Guwahati, 15 in Patna and 14 in Dehradun. After our ten pickup cities, these four were the cities we bought from most often.

This guide is for anyone in these four cities, or in a town nearby, who wants to sell a camera. It shows what people there sold us, how to get a price, and how a sale works when the camera cannot simply be handed to an agent at a pickup. There are no rupee figures here; the live figure for your model is always on its page.

What sellers in these four cities sold us

The mix is similar to the big cities: mostly mirrorless bodies, with some entry DSLRs. From our purchase records for 2026:

• Lucknow: the Canon M50 Mark II (2) and Canon R100 (2), plus the Canon 3000D, Canon 1300D, Canon 200D and 200D Mark II, Nikon D3400, Nikon D5600, Nikon Z50 II, Sony A6100, Sony A7 III, Sony A7 IV, Sony ZV-E10 and a Panasonic AG-VX90 camcorder. One Lucknow sale was a 28-70mm lens on its own, with no camera.
• Patna: the Sony ZV-E10 (3) and ZV-E10 II, the Nikon Z50 II (2), the Canon R6 Mark II, Canon 80D and Canon M50 Mark II, and the Sony A7C, A6100, A6400 and A6600. Two Patna sales were lenses only, one of them a Canon 70-200mm IS II.
• Guwahati: a wide spread, with the Nikon D5600 (2) and Sony ZV-E10 (2), and one each of the Nikon D3500, Nikon D7200, Canon R10, Canon R50, Canon R100, Canon 200D, Canon 200D Mark II, Canon 1500D, Sony A6600, Sony A6700 and a Nikon P900 compact. One Guwahati sale was a pair of lenses without a camera.
• Dehradun: the Sony ZV-E10 came in five times, more than any other body, along with the Canon R6 Mark II, Canon R50 V, Canon M50 and M50 Mark II, Canon 700D, Sony A6000, A6100 and A6700, and a DJI Osmo action camera combo.

Step 1: get your price online

Your price is worked out the same way in Lucknow as in Delhi. Open your model's page and press the button to get the exact value. The figure at the top is the maximum for that body in Flawless condition. Your own figure depends on the condition grade (Flawless, Good, Average or Below Average), how long ago you bought the camera, and the accessories you still have, such as the box, charger, battery, bill and bag.

Step 2: call or WhatsApp about your location

Because these cities are outside our listed pickup cities, the next step is a call or WhatsApp message to +91 95608 22859. Tell us your city and your model, and we will tell you whether pickup or courier is possible for your location. Please do not send a camera anywhere before that conversation.

Step 3: how a courier sale works

Courier is open to sellers anywhere in India. The process has four parts:

1. Video call check. Before you pack anything, we check the camera with you on a video call: the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, the camera powering on and firing the shutter, the information screen, and the lens and accessories you are selling. The price is agreed after this check.
2. Packing. Card out, caps on, each item in bubble wrap, inside a strong outer carton with no empty space.
3. Courier charge half-half. Sell Your Gadget pays half of the courier charge and you pay half.
4. 90% in advance. We pay 90% of the agreed price before your parcel reaches us. The remaining 10% is paid after it arrives and we have matched it with what we saw on the video call.

Three things to do before the call

• Charge the battery. We do not buy dead cameras, and you will need to show the camera powering on.
• Check your lenses in daylight for fungus and haze. Guwahati's and Dehradun's monsoon humidity is hard on stored glass. See how to check a camera lens.
