When people search for a camera buyer in Bangalore they usually type the city's name, but the bookings we actually receive come from its edges as much as its centre. In the pickup bookings made on this site from Bangalore since 2022, the localities that appear most often are Electronic City, JP Nagar, Whitefield, HSR Layout, Sarjapur Road, Yelahanka, KR Puram, Banashankari, Varthur and Anekal. This guide is for sellers in those areas and the towns beyond them: what pickup covers, where our bookings have actually come from, and how the check and payment work.

Where we pick up, from our own records

These are localities that appear in pickup bookings made on this site, not a list copied from a map:

• East and the IT corridor: Whitefield (Kadugodi, Hoodi, Varthur, Gunjur), Marathahalli, Bellandur, Sarjapur Road, KR Puram, Mahadevapura, Horamavu, Kalyan Nagar, Hennur and Indiranagar.
• South: Electronic City (both phases), Begur, Bommanahalli, Bommasandra, Chandapura and Anekal on the Hosur Road side; HSR Layout, Koramangala, BTM Layout, JP Nagar, Jayanagar, Bannerghatta Road, Arekere, Hulimavu, Gottigere and Uttarahalli on the other.
• North: Yelahanka and Yelahanka New Town, Kodigehalli, Vidyaranyapura, Thanisandra, Sahakar Nagar and Hebbal.
• West: Banashankari, Kengeri, RR Nagar, Nagarbhavi, Vijayanagar, Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, Peenya and Nagasandra.

Almost all of these bookings carry a 560 pin code. The 562 pin codes of the outer towns, such as Anekal, appear too. How the pickup works, wherever you are in the city

The steps are the same in Whitefield and in Yelahanka:

1. Get the price online. Open your model's page, for example Canon EOS 1500D, Nikon D5300 or Sony Alpha A7 III, and answer the four questions: condition grade, how long ago you bought it, the accessories you still have, and which lenses you are selling with it. 2. Confirm with the OTP and pick a slot. Six in ten Bangalore bookings chose the 11 AM to 2:30 PM slot; afternoon and evening slots are on the form too. Four in five bookings were made for the next day, and the day and time are confirmed with you on the phone before the agent travels. Tell the gate of your society to expect a visitor at the slot time.
3. The check, in front of you. The agent checks the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories, and records two short videos: powering on and firing the shutter, and the information screen. If the camera matches what you entered, the price stands. If something material is different, you are re-quoted with the reason and you are free to decline.
4. Payment and ID. You are paid on the spot by UPI, bank transfer or cash; about seven in ten Bangalore sellers chose a UPI app. Above Rs 10,000 we prefer bank transfer. A government ID is checked at every pickup. The details are in how payment works when you sell a used camera.

What sellers in these areas bring us

Across Bangalore, Canon and Nikon are about three in four bookings and DSLRs about two thirds, and about four in five bookings include at least one lens. The most-booked bodies are the Canon EOS 1500D, Nikon D5600, Nikon D5300, Canon EOS 1300D and Canon EOS 1200D, usually with the 18-55 mm kit lens and often with a 55-250 mm or 70-300 mm as well. In the last 12 months the Sony A7 III and the ZV-E10 have been booked about as often as the entry Canons, and the body we actually bought most often from Bangalore sellers in 2026 was the ZV-E10 with its 16-50 mm lens.

What to keep ready

• The camera, charged, with the lens on it and the lens caps. We do not buy dead cameras; a working lens from a dead body can still be sold on its own at sell camera lens.
• Every accessory you are selling laid out: box, charger, battery, bill, bag. Each adds to the figure and none is required.
• The memory card formatted after a backup; the card itself is not required.
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth pairing cleared and the camera reset, following back up, reset and unpair your camera.
• A government ID, and the bank account or UPI ID you want the payment in.

Lenses, drones under 250 g, action cameras, camcorders and gaming consoles can go in the same pickup. Price each on its own section and mention all of them on the booking call so the agent arrives knowing what to check.

Do you pick up in Electronic City Phase 2 and Anekal?

Is there a shop in Whitefield or anywhere in Bangalore?

No. Bangalore is a doorstep pickup city: the agent comes to your home or office, checks the camera in front of you and pays on the spot. Our stores are in Delhi, Pune and Chandigarh/Mohali.

How soon is the pickup in Yelahanka or KR Puram?

I am in Mysore. Can I still sell to you?
