"Sell GoPro" and "sell GoPro Hero 11" are searches that reach this site every week, and the first thing to be clear about is what is actually listed. Right now one GoPro has its own price page, the Hero 13. That does not mean an older Hero is worthless; it means the route to a price is different. This guide explains which route to use for your model, what we check on a GoPro, and what changes the figure.

What is listed: the Hero 13

The page sits in our action camera section under all GoPro models, next to the DJI Osmo and Insta360 pages on sell action camera. The figure at the top of the page is the maximum for a Hero 13 in Flawless condition; your own figure comes from the condition grade, the age bracket and the accessories you still have. In the week of 4 to 10 September 2026, GoPro pages received 14 of the 845 model-page views on this site, and the Hero 13 appears in the trending list on the action camera page.

Hero 12, Hero 11, Hero 10 or older: how to get a price

If your GoPro is not the Hero 13, do not pick the Hero 13 page and hope. Use one of these instead:

1. Send one photo to Instant Quote. We identify the model from the photo and ask the same condition and accessory questions.
2. Call or WhatsApp +91 95608 22859 with the model name. We tell you whether we buy it and quote manually.

We do buy older Heroes this way. Our purchase records for February to September 2026 include Hero 12 Black units bought from sellers even though there is no Hero 12 page, so the absence of a page is a catalogue gap, not a no. One rule applies to every model: the camera must power on. A dead GoPro is not accepted, in line with our policy for every category.

Which Hero do you have?

The model name is on the front of the camera below the lens and on the box. The About Camera entry in the settings menu shows the full name, the firmware and the serial number, and that is the screen the agent records at pickup. If you are unsure between two generations, a photo of the front and one of the About screen sent to Instant Quote settles it.

What changes the price on a GoPro

The price form uses the same four inputs for every action camera:

1. The model page, or the manual quote for an unlisted model.
2. The condition grade: Flawless, Good, Average or Below Average.
3. How long ago you bought it: under 4 months, 4 to 12, 12 to 18, 18 to 24 or over 24 months. Our guide to the age brackets we use explains why age is separate from condition.
4. The accessories you still have: box, charger, bill, battery, mounts and the shorty grip. None of them is required to sell.

There is no separate lens line: the lens is part of the camera, which is why the lens cover is the first thing we look at.

What we check at pickup

• The lens cover. On recent Heroes the cover is removable and replaceable. Hold it against the light and look for scratches and chips; a replaced cover in good condition is fine, just tell us.
• Both screens. The front screen and the rear touchscreen, for dead spots, marks under the glass and touch that works across the whole surface.
• The battery door. It should close and latch cleanly. The door is the seal on a waterproof camera; a door that does not lock is a Below Average camera.
• The battery. The camera should hold a charge for a normal session. Extra batteries count as accessories.
• The folding mount fingers at the base, for cracks, and any mounts, the shorty grip and the case.
• A power-on video, the same one the agent records, so both sides see how the camera behaves when cold.

Do the same check yourself before you fill in the form. The quote holds at pickup if the camera matches what you entered; if something material is different, the agent re-quotes on the spot with the reason and you are free to decline. Before you hand it over

Back up your footage, format the card, and sign out of the GoPro Quik app so the camera is unpaired from your phone and any cloud subscription. Our reset checklist has the steps. Charge the battery: an agent cannot check a GoPro that will not switch on.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy the GoPro Hero 11 or Hero 12?

Yes, but neither has its own page yet. Send a photo to Instant Quote or WhatsApp us with the model name and we quote manually. Our purchase records include Hero 12 units bought this way.

Do I need the box or the bill to sell my GoPro?

No. Each accessory you still have adds to the figure, but none is required. Without the bill the camera is treated as out of warranty, which changes nothing about whether we buy it.

My GoPro works but the battery drains fast. Which grade is it?

A camera that works completely but cannot hold a normal charge is Average or Below Average, depending on the rest. Enter the honest grade and the quote will hold at pickup.

Where can I sell my GoPro for cash in person?

At our stores in Delhi, Pune and Chandigarh, or through free doorstep pickup in ten cities. Payment is made at the check, by cash, UPI or bank transfer, with bank transfer preferred above Rs 10,000.
