Most of the cameras we are asked to buy in the Chandigarh tricity are DSLRs. In the pickup bookings made on this site from Mohali, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Zirakpur and Kharar since 2022, Canon and Nikon together make up about two thirds of all bookings, and roughly six in ten bookings are DSLR bodies rather than mirrorless. This guide explains how the second-hand DSLR price is worked out for a seller in Mohali or Panchkula, why the lenses matter so much here, and what to check before the agent arrives.

Among the cameras we actually bought from Chandigarh sellers between February and August 2026, four of the five most common bodies were Nikon DSLRs, usually with two lenses. The price page gives the body-only figure. That is the single most common misunderstanding from tricity sellers, so it gets its own section below.
More than three in four tricity bookings on this site included at least one lens. The typical Nikon kit we bought in the tricity this year was a D3400, D5300 or D5600 with an 18-55 mm and a 70-300 mm; the typical Canon kit in bookings from Kharar and Panchkula was a 1500D or 200D Mark II with an 18-55 mm and a 55-250 mm.
Each lens is quoted as its own line, added to the same quote, because a body and a lens lose value at different rates. To get the lens line right:
The check at your door in Mohali or Panchkula is the same one our store does: the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories. Two short videos are recorded, the camera powering on and firing the shutter, and the information screen.

If the camera matches what you entered, the price stands. If something material is different, you are re-quoted with the reason and you are free to decline.
Almost half of all tricity bookings chose the 11 AM to 2:30 PM slot; afternoon and evening slots are also on the booking form. Pickup is free across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar and Dera Bassi.
You are paid on the spot after the check. In our tricity bookings the modes chosen were roughly split between cash and UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), with a few bank transfers.
