Most people find Sell Your Gadget when they want to sell a camera, but many people who find our Google listings are buyers: students, parents buying a first camera, videographers wanting a second body. This guide explains where our used cameras come from, how buying online works, and what the Mohali store can and cannot do for a buyer.
It does not quote rupee figures. Every unit is priced on its own product page and the stock changes weekly.
Everything we sell was bought from a seller like you, checked by our own technicians, and logged into one central inventory. In the tricity alone, between February and August 2026 we bought 25 cameras from sellers in Chandigarh, and those purchases included 35 lenses. The bodies that came in most often were the Canon EOS R10, Nikon D5300, Nikon D5600, Nikon D7500 and Nikon D3400, usually with their kit lenses.
That is the source of the units shown as our own stock on the shop site: they come straight from the inventory we bought and checked, and the live count on our Chandigarh page counts only those units.
Our online shop is sellyourgadget.shop. What matters for a buyer in Chandigarh:
If you want a specific model that is not listed, call or WhatsApp +91 95608 22859. Because we buy from sellers every week, we can tell you whether one is likely to come in.
Our tricity store is Sell Your Gadget (SYG) Chandigarh, Booth No. 5, Phase 9, Industrial Area, Mohali 160062, open Monday to Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM and Sunday by appointment, closed on 26 January and 15 August. Google lists "Buy checked pre-owned camera" as one of its services, and that is exactly what it is: checked pre-owned cameras are sold from this store.
Two honest points before you drive over:
At the store, ask to see the unit switched on and firing before you pay, and check which accessories come with it.
Many of our listings are "with single lens" or "with double lens". That wording comes from how we bought the kit: a Nikon D5300 with an 18-55 mm and a 70-300 mm is listed as a double-lens kit, and a lens that came in on its own is listed on its own. If you already own lenses, a body-only listing is usually the better buy; if you are starting out, a kit with the 18-55 mm covers most first-year use. Our Nikon entry-DSLR guide and Canon R-series guide explain the differences between the models you will see most.
Buyers in the tricity often have an older camera to move on. The price for your old body is on its page, for example Canon EOS 1300D or Nikon D5600, and each lens is priced on its own line. You can sell at the store on the same visit, or book a free doorstep pickup across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur and Kharar and buy online separately. The process for selling is covered in selling a used camera in Chandigarh, Mohali or Panchkula.
