Selling a Camera in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur or Ahmedabad Without a Store

We have walk-in stores in Delhi, Pune and Chandigarh. We do not have one in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur or Ahmedabad. People in those four cities sometimes read that as "they do not really buy here", and the numbers say the opposite.

Between 16 February and 10 September 2026 our purchase books recorded 55 camera lots from Hyderabad, 48 from Kolkata, 36 from Jaipur and 27 from Ahmedabad. Every one of them was bought without the seller walking into a shop. This guide explains how that works, what sellers in each city actually sold, and how to get ready.

How selling works in a city without a store

In these four cities everything runs through free doorstep pickup. The steps are the same in each:

1. Get your price online. Search your model and answer the questions on condition, how long ago you bought it, and which accessories you still have. If you do not know the model name, send a photo through our instant photo quote.
2. Book a pickup slot. Our agent comes to your home or office.
3. The camera is checked in front of you. The agent photographs the front, the back with the screen on, the top plate, the base with the serial number, the sensor and mount with the lens removed, and the accessories, and records a short video of the camera powering on and firing the shutter, plus the information screen.
4. You are paid at the pickup. If the camera matches what you entered, the price stands and payment is made on the spot, by bank transfer, UPI or cash. Above Rs 10,000 we prefer bank transfer. If something material is different, the agent re-quotes with the reason, and the decision is yours.

A government ID proof is taken at pickup to confirm your identity. That is the same in every city.

Hyderabad

We pick up across Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Our records show 55 lots from Hyderabad in the period above. The bodies that came in most often were the Sony ZV-E10 (5), the Nikon Z50 (4), the Canon EOS M50 (3), and the Nikon D5600, Sony A6400 and Sony A7 III with 2 each.

Hyderabad's list leans towards mirrorless and vlogging bodies. If you are selling one of these, have the kit lens, charger and battery together, because they are the items the agent will ask to see. Kolkata

We pick up across Kolkata and Howrah. There were 48 lots from Kolkata. The most frequent bodies were the Nikon D5600 (4), the Canon EOS R50 (3), and the Fujifilm X-T5, Nikon D3400, Sony ZV-E10 and Canon EOS 200D Mark II with 2 each.

Jaipur

There were 36 lots from Jaipur. The most frequent bodies were the Sony ZV-E10 (6), the Sony A7 IV (3), and the Nikon D3500, Canon EOS R50, Nikon D3400 and Nikon Z30 with 2 each.

Jaipur is the one city of the four where a full-frame body sits near the very top of the list. Ahmedabad

There were 27 lots from Ahmedabad. The most frequent bodies were the Nikon D5600 (4), the Sony ZV-E10 (4), and the Sony A6400 and Canon EOS 200D Mark II with 2 each. What to keep ready before the agent arrives

• The camera, charged. The agent needs to see it power on and fire the shutter. We do not buy dead cameras, although a working lens from a dead camera can still be sold on its own.
• A government photo ID.
• The accessories you entered on the price form. Box, charger, battery, bill and bag each add to the price, but none of them is required to sell.
• Each lens you want to sell, with caps. Lenses are priced separately. See sell camera lens.
• Your photos backed up and the memory card out.

Is the price different because there is no store?

No. The price comes from the same model, condition, age and accessory inputs everywhere, and it is confirmed when the agent checks the camera.

At the pickup itself, once the camera has been checked and matches what you described.
